The 2028 event is an annular, or “ring of fire”, eclipse across southern and eastern Spain. The Moon never covers the whole bright Sun, so the ring phase is spectacular but never safe to view without solar protection.

Where the annular path reaches Spain

Seville and Cádiz are useful mainland references inside the annular path. Palma is a warning example: the geometric solar altitude is around the horizon, so local relief, trees and buildings can decide whether the event is visible at all.
